The ClimaCount scheme creates awareness for the environment in various user-friendly ways. For example,
by providing card users with a personal Carbon Footprint with which they can track the amount of
carbon they are offsetting every month. Card users are given insight into how their carbon footprint
compares to that of other card users, making it possible for them to assess their own carbon emissions.
Active
participation is key to promoting awareness according to ClimaCount. The Carbon Offset Index invites
card users to take an interest in exactly how their emissions are being offset. This personal index
