The ClimaCount Carbon Offset Index
Besides offsetting 100% of your carbon emissions, ClimaCount also gives you access to personal
tools with which you can decide exactly how you want to fighting global warming. With the Carbon
Offset Index you are able to select exactly which kind of offset programme you want to use to
compensate your emissions every month. Only ClimaCount powered card users have access to their
own personal Carbon Offset Index.

When you use the ClimaCount scheme to offset your carbon emissions, you receive a monthly
report containing an update of the total amount of carbon emissions you are automatically compensating
with ClimaCount. You are also invited to use your personal Carbon Offset Index to indicate how much
of your carbon emissions you wish to allocate to each one of the
ClimaCount Carbon Offset Programmes
for offsetting. Of course, you must allocate 100% of your carbon emissions to one or more of the
programmes under the ClimaCount 100% carbon neutral scheme.
There are four programmes to choose from: Forestry, Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Greenhouse Gases Capture. Once you have offset 100% of your carbon emissions with your selection,
ClimaCount will carry out your choice for that month. All your monthly Carbon Offset Indexes are
archived for future reference.
