As the fund is completely independent, it also guarantees that the projects included in the offset scheme are chosen solely on the basis of their effectiveness in contributing to a sustainable environment.

The Climate Compensation Fund also assesses the credentials of the selected projects, reports on their progress and checks that they actually do offset as much carbon as they claim to. The fund’s reports are audited by independent third parties.
