How ClimaCount works

Live 100% carbon neutral

You can make a difference in the fight against global warming. Simply by using a credit card that is backed by the ClimaCount carbon offset scheme. Every time you use your ClimaCount powered credit card to make a payment you automatically take direct action to offset 100% of the carbon emissions resulting from your purchase. How does this work exactly?

When you pay for your purchases with a credit card that is backed by the ClimaCount scheme, these products and services are automatically fed into a specially developed carbon calculator to determine the amount of carbon emissions released. This calculator is fine-tuned and continually updated to ensure the calculation is as accurate, relevant and complete as possible.

Once your carbon emissions have been accurately calculated you receive a report. The report contains your monthly Carbon Footprint. Your footprint helps you keep track of exactly how many tons of carbon you are compensating with ClimaCount. You then access your personal Carbon Offset Index and decide which of the ClimaCount Carbon Offset Programmes you prefer to use to offset your carbon emissions. ClimaCount does the rest.
